Costuming

 

Our family has two characters, this makes costuming fairly simple for us with fewer people and with basic costuming for those characters. We already have a general layout of what we plan on wearing to make our characters come to film.

Our group decided that our main character will be dressed in business casual attire, as they will be returning home from work. We want the colours to be plain as the main character is going through the same day they always do. Our goal is for the MC to appear bored and worn out.

For our side character, we will have them wearing all black clothing, leaning toward baggy clothing with a hoodie or some clothing that can cover their face. We want them to blend in with the nighttime sky and avoid any attention as they stay hidden from the MC. The black clothing will help them appear anonymous, mysterious, and lead the audience to believe they are dangerous and unaware of what they may do to the MC.
