Initial Movie Storyboard
Now that we have figured out the plot of our opening and practiced storyboarding, our group has made an official storyboard for our film opening. Shown below is what we have sketched to film in terms of action, lighting, audio notes and camera shots we want to use.
While no one in our group is necessarily labelled as an artist, we all came together to try our best in interpreting our thoughts for our movie. We compromised and made small drawings with simple actions and described them in further detail to convey what we wanted. From describing what the scene was, the camera angle, lighting, shots, audio backgrounds, and cuts. By being limited to our artistic abilities we were able to utilize describing our scenes out not only to show what we would like to do but also to remember when we begin filming.
We separated our task by the three of us, Daniel Yanes took the job of describing the sketches that Daniel Lapidot drew. While I missed the initial class to begin the storyboard I was able to proofread what was written and drawn while also offering some things we can add to the ideas we originally had agreed on.
I would say now with the storyboard done and all three of us in agreeance to what and how we want to film, we are ready to start our project.
