Color use

 Welcome back, in this post I will be reviewing the use of colour in our film. 

A majority of our film was filmed in low-key lightning using the dark nighttime sky as our backdrop. The use of black in the nighttime helped create a mystery and cast the darkness hiding our stalker's true identity from the main character and viewers. These dark and dangerous intentions are broken at the end when the stalker flips a light switch revealing himself and his true intentions of a birthday surprise.

Furthermore, in costuming our main character we stuck with plain white and black clothing to signify the plainness of his life and the professional aspect of coming home from work. Showing that he does not stand out against the world and even going into a brown car shows the simplicity of his life. The secondary character is not much different, clothed in all black but with the intention of blending into the surrounding environment. Costuming was a very important aspect in adding a layer of depth to our characters in the short time we had.
