Editing Post #1

As we wrapped up our first day of filming, we had made plans to begin our first day of editing those initial scenes to see what we would need to reshoot and observing the angles and lighting we were able to accomplish and/or work on.

In terms of editing effects on our video, we will not be adding many special effects or filters unless it's to help with glares and blurs that occur while filming. We will likely be editing most of the audio clips after the video making more clips apart and putting them together with transitions. To our video, we will be adding transitions to make it a seamless parting through the clips filmed, fades to black and hard cuts will likely be used the most.

Our biggest challenge will be making sure that we can put all the clips together seamlessly, being three of us I'm sure we can all work together and be precise in the process. The use of transitions and testing how to end our clips best will be in our favour. I am excited to work with editing programs again as I have been able to test certain programs over the years, we opted to try premier pro and iMovie, we all collectively agreed that imovie was the easier program to use especially with audio clips.

Another challenge we are experiencing is making sure our film opening comes down to 2 minutes or less to follow guidelines. We have made sure to meticulously look through the clips and shave down parts we don't need and clips we can compact more to abide by the time limits. While this process takes more time than the other challenges we have come across the three of us have made sure to be patient in the process and continue to have fun with the project.
