Ideas that didnt make the cut
This blog post will be a behind the scenes of our filming process, specifically on a few of the ideas that didn't make the final cut and why.
With two other partners we each had many ideas brought to the table, from changes in scenes completely to smaller changes of angle or lighting. Some parts got cut out due to our time limit that we found out was quite easy to reach and hard to cut out scenes to not go over. For example, we wanted to film our stalker entering the house and hiding behind various places such as the sofa, kitchen counter, stairwell all in quick cuts but realized we did not have enough time to do such. We also wanted to start with our main character leaving from his desk or from inside the building but the building we planned to use was closed at the time and a special card was needed to gain access. We also planned on using more quick cuts but winded up using fades to black on a majority of our scenes due to the time lapse between and it was far easier to edit in.
These were just a few things along the process that needed to be cut and changed. I can only imagine the process large film directors and editors have to do to.
what are they? this needs more content
