Scheduling our film
In this post, I will share how we came to schedule our film and the challenges that came with the task.
Prior to the start of filming our group struggled slightly with scheduling a date that would work best for all of us. Each person in our group has jobs and additional schoolwork/ responsibilities, so up until the actual start date for our project, we put off the start of our film. We gathered together and went through our first day of filming, shooting our first three scenes going over in detail each shot at that time so if we needed to reshoot we could then rather than meet another day. After this day, our group slacked a bit and on all the dates some of us were available one person wouldn't be. But as we came closer to our deadline we realized we had to get our shooting done in time to edit everything together.
With spring break up we would be more available with school work out of the way for the week, so finally we joined together and finished filming. We spent more hours on this second day but were fully able to get all scenes done and begin editing. I wish that we would have been more prepared for the times we filmed and finished with a bit more time to spare. But nonetheless, we finished our film and were happy with our final product all while having fun with it.
