Supporting Character Analysis
In this blog post, I will be running down an analysis of our supporting character, the stalker played by Daniel Lapidot.
Our stalker was similar to our main character, slightly above average height and a leaner fit builder. Dressed in head to toe black clothing with a hood covering his face to blend with the background in an attempt to stay hidden from the main character. His identity is covered by this hood till the very end of the film as he is holding a cake and a knife.
Following the main character from work to home, we wanted to portray him as a dangerous and mysterious stalker as he hides behind bushes and rushes into the main character's home to continue with his disguise till the very end. The behaviour portrayed is that of a "typical stalker" as portrayed in films and shows, acting as if he is looking to harm the MC. This is the opposite of what our stalker had planned, rather than following the MC to surprise him for his birthday, which happened to be the week prior. This shows that the actions of the stalker were rather friendly and surprised the MC along with the audience.
